What is Birdies for Charity?
- Birdies for Charity presented by TowneBank is a fundraising platform operating in conjunction with the Korn Ferry Tour Championship, that enables local charitable organizations to receive a 10% bonus on charitable contributions
- Birdies or Charity presented by TowneBank is designed as a platform that can be easily integrated into existing solicitation efforts
- Participating charities will receive all donations collected on their behalf, minus credit card fees for online donations, plus the additional 10%. There is no minimum amount organizations must generate to receive the bonus.
- Any non-profit 501(c)3 located in or servicing the following counties: City of Richmond, Henrico, Hanover, Chesterfield, Charles City, Goochland, New Kent, Powhatan, and Louisa is eligible to participate.
- The 2026 program will be open from Monday, May 4th to Sunday, October 11th. Registration closes Friday, September 11th.
